My name is Aitana Comas, but most people call me Aita or Tana, depending on the country. I am half Spanish and half Swedish, reason why I want to bring the best of both worlds into my designs that are minimalistic, bold and detail-oriented.
Something else you can learn about me is that my friends say Iām picky, however I just call it organized and tasty.
In my free time you will find me teaching tennis to middle-high school kids, take pictures, drinking tea, spending time on Pinterest or doing exercise! Apart from speaking Spanish, Swedish and English, I am currently learning French, and Italian.
Long story short, after finishing high school I was recruited to play collegiate tennis on an athletic scholarship in San Francisco. When I came to San Francisco I decided I wanted to combine my passions for sports, design and technology at Academy of Art University; where I studied Interation & UI/UX Design. Here I was able to develop some life-time skills like decision-making, time-efficiency, perseverance, teamwork, and many more.
During this life changing experience I have been able to fall in love with design and achieve my goal that I had since I was 14. I went to the only NCAA art school in the nation, I had the opportunity to do internships alongside with doing freelance work in the design industry, and I got my degree in an amazing city full of opportunities, where I met incredible people, and made incredible memories.
Currently, I am looking for a job in as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer.
I do not only strive to design great experiences, but give all my time for the
research to accomplish it. Working with talented creatives from different
fields is an endless source of inspiration for me. It pushes me outside my
comfort zone and drives the curiosity that was the reason I got into design
in the first place.
